Stinky Wet Bay

Has anyone had a problem with a stinky wet bay on a 2008 Monaco Camelot42 PDQ. There is no odor any where in the coach, only when I open the WetBay Door.
Does anyone know what is behind that white panel and what connections are made to both the black water & Gray water tank? Any photos would be very helpful, because , what is behind that white panel is a mystery to me.

Do you have a SaniCon ? If you do, it`s probably the hose from the dump valve to the Sanicon -- Buy as heavy hose as you can find & replace it -- It don`t have to be leaking for the odor to seep thru a light weight hose -- There`s not much behind the panel that would cause an odor -- Bill Willard

Yep, the 3" hose that connects the dump valve to the Sani-con.

Odor comes right thru it!

If you want to see behind the white panel, crawl into the storage bay ahead of the wet bay. 2 screws hold on a panel that divides the two bays.
Your water pump, sani-con, water hose reel, wet bay heater, and possibly your water filter, are back there. Also, the valves that need to be opened, or closed, for winterizing.

Yep, I have a Sani-Con, however, the black hose is a heavy duty hose. The one that comes with the system. Could that hose be porous? If so, what type of hose would work? Any suggestions on where to purchase.

Back in 2007, when Bill, myself, and others bought our coaches, we all were getting the stink from the original SaniCon hose. After replacing the hose with non porous hose the smell went away.

Ok, Off to Camping World tomorrow to buy a new hose and hopefully put an end to the stink. Thanks to all that have replied to my problem. Many thanks!

the issue is the seal on eachend ---
yes the outlet side from the tanks is the normal twist on, but the other end is 'different'

I had a time sealing it (tested with fresh water only thank goodness )

Harry is right I replaced mine with beaver hose after I rebuilt my whole wet bay. The original was light duty, also rebuilt my Sanicon, it was a mess!😫💩

I'd like to rebuild my wet bay. The previous owner did a very poor mod and it's a bit of a mess. He removed the sanicon macerator so he could connect a more powerful one to the outlet instead. I'd like to put it back to factory, but can't find any diagrams, etc.

We have a 2008 Dynasty and use to have the Sanicon system; it too emitted odors. We removed ours completely and replaced it with Waste Management's cam-lock sewage hose (sold at Camping World). I thought Sanicon was the best way to dispose of waste until I installed the cam-lock now dumping is super fast and tanks flush clear/clean; there are no drips, spills, and no more stink.
