Ping me if you want to try a DIY.
I've replaced a few of them, likely will make new Sunbrella ones for mine this time. Last time I used a vinyl coated polyester from Sailrite that has since been discontinued. Held up reasonably well but are starting to delaminate after half a decade of sun.
Just replacing pre-made fabric is a snap.

I just installed four Stone Vos toppers on my coach myself, easy job so long as you have a helper.

The install of the Stone Vos toppers is not bad, but best with 2 people. It is important to lock the spring loaded tube with a nail after you get all the fabric unwound. Chris T of Stone Vos can be very helpful in getting you started.

Chris Throgmartin
Chris is a prince of a guy...a "pay it forward" super-star. He will help you any way he can...even if there is not a dime in it for him. And he unquestionably makes the highest quality toppers and awnings available anywhere.

X 2 on Chris. Replaced both bedroom toppers four years ago. Like new still. When I do the two front slides they will be from Stone-Vos.

They aren't hard to install. I helped a friend with a Monaco do all of his. Took two of us a couple hours.

I did all four in about 3 hours with help from my son in law. No big deal. I would recommend that instead of using a nail to lock the winding spring buy a 3" bolt and nut, I think I used a 10-24 X 3". That way you can make sure the nail doesn't fall out (however unlikely) and unwind the spring, which would be a real problem. Using the bolt/nut just was a little extra precaution.

Topper replacement is not bad. Chris is a great source for info and help. My DW and I replaced our toppers. Just need a helper and a couple of ladders.
As noted, if you don't want to do them yourself, I'll bet Chris knows someone in your area he can recommend.
