Suggesitons on improving heat distribution?
My scpter has the 3 std temp sensors; one by pass seat, one by dinette, and one in back but the heat runs much longer than it should to the point its too warm by the time it cuts off if the set on point is made confortable.
Any suggestions other than fans?? Anybody know what the sensitivity of them is?? Can one be made to give priority or one be removed?? How are they tied in?

Have you plugged up your big heat leaks? Vents and glass are major heat leaks that will cause the furnace to run more trying to catch up.

Yeah, not a lot of temp variation when its not on inside. And it doesnt cycle freqently.. it justs runs long when it turns on. After running for 10 mins ( and having been off for prob 20), it will still continue to run till the thermo is dropped 1 degree.
its really more that the floor vents dont get enough air-movement to reach the sensors.. .

If your talking about the sensors behind the little plastic hockey
mask covers the sensors are often pushed to far into the wall .
Pull them out a little and see if it helps .

If on shore power, a couple of ceramic space heaters will even out heat requirements throughout the coach and make you less dependent on the heat pumps or furnace.

Two things come to mind - one turn the temp down not to be a smart a$$ but is the simple answer. - two the location of the heat sensors - if on an outside wall it is possible that they are feeling cold when the air is really warm so move them?
My sensors were all on the outside walls and I had your issue, especially in the Winter if on the Cold side of the Coach (think cold -0) - My sensors were connected to the A/C Heat Pump in the ceiling then went back to the Single Thermostat.
SENSOR KIT,REMOTE - $18.89
We disconnected the ones to the walls and installed new sensors - just telephone hook-ups that could be ordered and left them in the return vent, slightly exposed, and BINGO everything has worked great ever since .
Hope this is of some help,

Jimmy ,
It looks like you have a light next to that sensor
Have you tried to remove the light and see if you can access the sensor
to push it thru the little hole ?
When that light is on it may provide unwanted heat to that sensor messing
up your ability to control room temperatures correctly , just a thought .
In another RV we owned I finally removed the little plastic cover grill in the
bed room so the sensor could sample the air better
It wasn't pretty but worked much better .

I was getting frustrated with the overshoot/undershoot of the sensors too. Finally unplugged the existing sensors and added new ones poking out by the return vents, where they could sample 'middle-room' conditions. Made a big difference.
Also found that one sensor was bad and was very inaccurate - sometimes it'd cut off early while other times it would make the AC run forever. Replaced it and no more issues.

Something else to try is maybe staggering the thermostats. Mine tends to run hot in the back and cold in the front due to sensor placement, so if I want even temps I will for example set the back to 68, middle to 69 and front to 71

Bingo..
my snowflake never had the hole cut for the sensor to even poke thru!!
;-)
And yes, I was able to get at it from the hole for the light.
Now it sticks thru the facemask just a bit..
