05 Windsor with Aqua Hot. When do I use the 'system heat' and what does it do? The switch to activate System Heat is in a panel above the entry door.
Thanks Larry

Larry, do you also have the two Aqua Hot switches for Diesel heat and electric heat? If I remember correctly that model has a electric automatic winterization system could it be for that?

I was just down in the Hill Country for Thanksgiving at my suster's place in Dripping Springs. I love it there. Have you been to the Salt Lick for BBQ yet? All the Aqua Hot switches except for engine preheat that I have seen have all been on one little panel. I can't see why they would split the Aqua-Hot switches. Does your manual talk about the automatic electric winterization function?

I have a 09 Camelot, the system heat switch turns on an electric heater in the utility bay. This heater is thermostat controlled at about 40 degrees. Hope this helps.

Larry; on my '04 Windsor the system heat turns on the circuit for the bay heater in the waste water discharge bay. Then the bay heater is energized by a snap disk that closes at 35 degrees and opens at 45-50 degrees. When this happens the system heat light will come on beside the system heat switch. You may also have heat pads under the fresh water tank, if so they will come on when you turn on the system heat. Suggest you go to your MH manual and read up on it.

Hi Mike, thanks for your help. I am at Buckhorn Lake RV park in Kerrville...Yep!! me too I love the Hill Country. I have been to Llano at Coppers BBQ.
My question started after friends disagreed with the manual for system heat. Everyone has an opinion and I just need to see what you guys had to say.
Thanks Mike.

Larry,
I have a 2002 Windsor PBT and the System Heat switch is in an overhead compartment just in back of the passenger's seat. This switch is adjacent to a System Heat indicator light. When my switch is on the indicator light will not be lit until the temperature dips below a set point. Not sure what that is, possibly someplace in the 30's F. When that set point is reached, I have heat pads under each of the liquid tanks, black, gray and fresh, to keep them from freezing. It also activates a 12 volt DC heater in the service bay which I have since removed due to it's rusty condition from when the original owner had used it.
