Taco Jack Pad

I have a 2012 Monaco KnightPDQ,the front jack pad bent like a taco when the ground gave way and pad bent upwards.I've noticed a single bolt in the center of the pad, does this suggest this bolt can be removed and the pad dropped down so I could flatten it someway? Thanks for any info!

Unless they changed the jacks since 2008 you can not remove the pad. I posted the repair I did to mine http://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/front-jack-update-192983.html\
Just returned from a two month trip and had no problems with the jack.

Yes you can remove the pad from the ram with that one bolt. When reinstalling do not over tighten the bolt, the pad should be able to move or adjust a little. There is an o-ring on the bolt behind the pad.I used a little lock-tight on the bolt itself.
The pad/foot itself is not that expensive.About 40 bucks as I recall. That might be the best route to go.The pad itself is “very” tough and requires a lot of persuasion to straighten out.A hydraulic press is best, and in the end you end up removing or at least compromising some of the strengthening ribs molded into the pad.
It will certainly give you some respect as to how much weight that thing supports and some incentive to not be lazy and put a jack pad under it first.Don’t ask me how I know all this…
