Tag axle

We purchased a 2005 Monaco last year every thing went good. This year we are having problems with the the tag axle It wont raise seams like there is no power in the switch and the 20 amp fuse blew for air leveling I don't know if this has anthing to do with the tag axle or not. Is there a fuse for the tag axle and if so where is it located Any help would be appreciated very much. TY from a new B Ray

B Ray, welcome to the forum. Please tell us what model motorhome you have so we can help you. Normally on a Monaco the tag axle is raised and lowered by the air leveling system and is controlled by 12v air solenoids. One we know more about your mh we can tell you more

Did you replace the fuse, and now have power at the air-leveling pad?
On mine (Power Gear / Valid system ), I believe there's a 2min delay before you can raise the tag, after the coach reaches Travel height.
Hope this helps.
Cheers... Ben.

Bran bay you have an HWH air leveling system on that model which also runs the tag lift. There are a whole series of fuses in the computer which is normally located on the overhead of the basement. Mine is located inboard of my inverter on the drivers side in the second bay back from the front. The system use six electric air solenoids called a six pack which is directly above the drive axle. That is going to be a hard problem to figure out. My bet is that you are going to need a new computer board. Don't know what Slemnah is emailing you but I will also senc you all the HWH manuals for that system later tonight.

Ray, I should have asked if you have both the hydraulic jacks as well as the air level system? I believe the schematics I sent you were for the hydraulic system. You can google HWH and get their air leveling system manual. There is a section on tag axles.
