Tecma Toilet Ran for 3 minutes!
Anyone had their Tecma toilet macerater run for 3 minutes after a flush? It flushed normal but kept running, I could push a button and water ran but macerater pump just drained it so it was running dry while I searched for a circuit breaker which I never found. Then it just stopped and is back to working normal.
Anyone had a similar issue? Anyone know where the CB is for the toilet? I pulled two I found labeled for bathrooms on 12v panel in bedroom closet but they did not turn off the toilet.
Thanks,
Bill

Wow, you must have some tough S--t! Installation instructions for the Tecma toilet says it must have a 40 amp breaker or fuse in the 12v circuit. No idea where the circuit protection is installed, but it gives you something to look for. Next time the macerator starts to 'run away' go to your entrance door and flip the house battery disconnect switch if you want to shut it (and everything else) off. The instruction and installation guide only references a control box, it doesn't say if there is a sensor that determines how long the macerator runs.
Perhaps a call to Thetford at 800 543 1219 can give further help.

Thanks but the entrance door switch does not turn it off on my coach??. I have now went to every break box and panel I can find and don't see anything marked for the toilet, bathroom or 40amps.

My owners manual says the breaker is in curbside battery box, it's not, Thetford said problem is likely the controller. Still would be nice to find the circuit breaker for the toilet!!

Where's the Tecma Toilet Circuit Breaker Located?
Anybody with 2008 HR Ambassador 40SKQ or similar coach with the Thetford Tecma toilet have an idea of where to find the circuit breaker. It is not in the CB panel in the curb side battery box as indicated by the owners manual.
Thanks,
Bill

Mine is in the rear closet with all of the multiplex stuff. There is a row of 6 or 8 self re-setting circuit breakers. One is a 40A with two 8 ga wires attached which go to each toilet.
I had an intermittant toilet. New controller cured it.
On edit I see you have the Ambassador, I was thinking Navigator.

This is a picture of the CB box in the battery box. Is what I pointed to a CB? Thanks!

They could be circuit breakers tied together by a bus bar. You'll have to see if they have small reset buttons on either end of the rectangular breaker.

Yes, they appear to be self resetting breakers which trip and when they cool down they reset and work again.

Thanks to all for the help, I thought the breakers were just part of the bus bar. You would think they would label them by circuit on the coach.
