Finally found it myself! It is located tied in a wiring bundle just below the fuse box in the engine compartment (on the driver's side). That is for a HR Vacationer. It can be totally different for some other coach. The way I found it was checking the wiring diagram for the temp/compass, it said the probe used two green wires. Found two green wires and took a chance that it was the probe.
It has a number on it (26703) but I could not find one on the internet but temp probes kept coming up when I did search so I was pretty sure that was it. I called American Technology Components and they still have some in stock under the part # AP-SUB-006.
Ordered one - $49.95+ - pricey but I hope this solves it!
