Temp sender

Does any one know what sender Monaco used for 98 Dynasty for the Allison
temperature gauge.

If it is like my Ambassador it is on the tail of the transmission where the fluid cooling line is connected. Has a crappy terminal which may have failed, or the sender may have failed... FWIW, my doesn't work either, fixing it is on my list of to-dos.

If you look on the front of the transmission shaft are you may find a 1/4 female spade terminal that slides over a little flat circle about 3/16" in diameter. My wire was blue. When my gauge stopped I crawled under and found the wire had broken. Easy fix

I had found it and the spade terminal post coming out of the sensor broke off as it was so corroded so I solder the wire on and it doesn't work so I am trying to get a new one. It's
not an Allison part

I replaced mine with this..

VDO 323-086: Temperature Sender 400°F / 200°C | JEGS

Was the same thing as I took out, have the fitting coated with Teflon dope not tape and be quick you may loose about a cup of fluid.
