I just want to thank you all for a great May long weekend. I know I would not have enjoyed it without water. It was advice give by this forum that allowed us to troubleshoot and eventually solve the problem. This was our first trip in the motorhome a 2004 Diplomat 40PAQ and winterizing it in Calgary in late March upon returning from the ArizonA sun
.When we hooked up at our campsight in beautiful downtown Victoria and I went to prepare the evening meal I noted a mere trickle from the kitchen tap. I then went to the bathroom sink and alas same thing, a mere trickle. I told DH and he went outside to check all valves and make sure water going in to the RV. I said well just phone Monaco like they say they are there 4 you 24 7 and we know they respond because we have ha to use them before, having just purchased our unit in Dec 07 in AZ and not knowing a lot about all the( we had a 95 Gasser) new equipmet on motorhome (new to us at any rate). We phoned Monaco hotline and left our number for a callback but unfortanately we (you know who we is right) left the wrong phone number for our cell ( we rarely use it -like why have a cell phone right -at all but I do digress) I had just paid for 24 hour access to WIFI so I said I would try this forum to see if anyone else had experienced this problem. Oh the problem...... Well there was no water pressure out of the kitchen or bathroom taps. Water came out of outside taps and that was our only test, other than the special drinking tap that was extra filtered ran OK. I then went on this forum and did a search on water pressure problems and someone maybe Monaco Mama thread said something about all the crud in the tap heads and someone replied they had simialr water problem and it was the crud in the tap fileters so I said why did he not look at the tap filters to see if they were clean. He poo pawed my suggestion but I was persistent and asked him what would he loose by endulging me in my belief- no matter how how wrong was. Anyway he popped the cap off to the kitchen faucet and it was loaded with crud, cleaned it off and water flowed great. Same thing in the bathroom sink. He then tried the shower and it was OK. (We had also tried water on the stored water with the pump but of course only tried the same two taps so same result no pressure.) Anyway we had a great time golfing an RVing in Victoria an believe you me it would not have been a great time for me without water as thats why I RV when I "camp". Thank You from a happy "camper"

Rickas...
The important thing is that you got him to at least try the suggestion...and just as important... he put it back on!
We are glad that you had a great time and enjoyed your trip with the full use of water!

Feel free to come here with other questions...I am sure we will always be here to help!
