The definition of exceptional friends.

Some of you may know us even though we reside in Denmark. We spend 10 years travelling in the US before a stroke of bad luck put a stop to our frequent visits.

About 12 or 13 years ago we got to meet our exceptional friends through "Monaco Mama" when our friends contacted us and said "just come to our place and we will fix the problem that you have with your Diplomat".

Our first reaction was that who in their right mind would extend such an invitation, and we did not react to this for some time, until Monaco Mama said that this was a genuine offer and that the people offering the help was not crackpots

We have now been close RV friends for more than 10 years, and later on this year they have offered to let us use their luxurious Monaco Camelot MH for 3 months for free when we return to the US to find out if leaving RVing was a mistake.

We are telling you this because we are extremely greatful for a couple of things: 1) Who do you know who would make the same offer to a couple of "out-of towners" from another country? 2) We love these 2 people to death and value their friendship regardless of their extreme generosity.

We are blessed in as much as we in fact know several couples who would trust us and would have made us the same offer, and now we hope that we we will be able to meet up with them in the south-west area of the US when we return at the end of the year.

People who know us may have a guess as to who our exceptional friends are. We won't tell or reveal their identity, but some of you will be in no doubt.

We are very very grateful for this opportunity, and we will be forever in debt.

Thanks a million guys

What a great story! Sometimes it's difficult to see but there are wonderful people all around us every day, it's just sad that the bad ones get all the attention!

Have a safe trip back to the USA and a wonderful 3 months of camping too!

That's a great story. Folks like that are few and far between. You are lucky to be able to call them friends.

Fantastic Henrik, we have never met but you know us from your many years on this forum. We have met the very nice couple you are referring to.

I feel that I know you real well, and as you say, we have never met. Maybe one day?

Thanks

We miss travelling and we miss all our RV buddy's that we met over our 10 years as guests in the US.

The good news is that some have already emailed us and said that they will come and see us when we revisit late in 2019, and now we can't wait to see them all again.

Happy days
