The Original Mighty Sealer

I noticed an advertisement for Flex Seal, a liquid rubber spray. I thought it might be easier to seal roof cracks and would eliminate the need for manually brushing on RV sealers. Since Flex Seal only comes in black, I emailed the company and told them I thought this might work on RV's but most roofs are white, are they considering a white color. They informed me that it was only available in black. I started checking the Web and came upon "The Original Mighty sealer" which comes in white, black and clear.

Here's the website: https://www.mightysealer.com/?mid=2845988

Has anyone used this product to seal their roof, and if so, what's your impression of the product?

I just noticed on the website that Flex Seal is now available in white. Why I was not informed of that when I sent my email two weeks ago I do not know. Anyway, has anyone used these products?

I subscribe to Consumer Reports magazine and they tested Flex Seal and they used the Flex Seal in all of the scenarios depicted in the TV commercial and even though they were able to make a boat with a floor made out of a screen door float they never could get gutters to seal using the same amount shown in the commercial.

All the other scenarios did not work either and in the end Consumer Reports magazine does not recommend it.

Saw the same thing on the news. Besides that, it's way over priced. You could probably get some spray on under-coating from an auto parts store and some white exterior latex paint and do just as good.

Rustoleom makes a similar product. I wouldn't think it would seal gutters, but it did a great job coating a rusting roof vent on my house.
