I have a 2001 Dynasty that came with Goodyear 295/75 22.5 tires. Asking for any good results (any brand). Am currently considering Yokohama RY023 in the size mentioned with an H ply rating. Thanks in advance for the replies. Clarke

I would stay with the Goodyear tires. I have a friend that replaced his tires and ended up going back to the Goodyear tires. jmho

I've been hearing great things about Hankook tires. My goodyears are horribal, 27,000 miles and I had to rotate the front tires to the drive axle because of the wear.....Bruce

I just recently replaced all 6 of my tires with the same type goodyear tires that came on it from the factory. I researched for weeks getting opinions from people with all brands and it seems you will find good and bad on all of them including Michelin, which made me go back with what was on it originally. By the way I had 63,000 miles on the original tires before changing them out. You will hear horror stories on all of them. I dont think you can go wrong with the Goodyear just make sure they are new dated.

I had 6 toyos of that exact size put on at Crawford tire in orlando(occoee). 325 ea mounted, balanced, tax included. This was 2 years ago for my 97 executive and have been VERY happy with the performance as well as value. Of course the price has probably gone up a bit.

HI,

Good years are good tires however all my 2 coaches had Michelins and I'm sold on them. They wear great and haven't had a problem with them. I also use them to the limit as I take care of them.

I did have a problem with Firestones on my class C but they made good for all 6 tires.

Don't know anout the Japanese tires for a RV however I had Yokohamas on my 2 cars and they were a great tire and good in wet weather.

I think the real key is to be sure they are new dated and that at 5 years consider replacing them regardless of the brand.

I have always used the Good Year and have good success. I always check my front alignment and have all tires balanced when I relace the tires. Keeps a smooth ride and better steering.

I still have Goodyears on the front. Both of them had terrible rivering on them. Found a deep hole in side wall in the middle of Kansas. Dealer only had Goodyear (thru Coach Net) No choice, I was parked on the side of the road. Have 30k on these and no problems. 2004 tires and needed to replace rear tires. Went with Sumatos (sp) 'H' rated. Very happy. The tire guy showed me the old Goodyears once removed. Oh my!!! On the inside of the outer tire and the inside of the inner tire I had what he called a 'zipper' rip. These were on three of the four. About one inch from the rim a 1/4 rip that ran 3/4th of the way around the tire. You could stick the eraser end of a # 2 pencil in the crack. If one went, the other could not support the weight. No way can you check between the duals. I was very lucky. Ran tires at 100psi very lightly loaded coach. Tires were 6 years old almost to the day. I am not saying it is a Goodyear problem, just be aware of things you can not see. Outer side of tire had NO cracks and always covered. They looked new.

We went from Goodyear to Bridgestones...... love them!!!!! Smooth ride, corners well and rides great.... did the "bead" balancing as well......
Goodyear too much $$$... paying for the blimp..... besides, we never put that many miles on RV tires... they are all "out of date" before the treads are worn.... why pay extra $$$$ for mileage claims we never achieve?!?!!?

Are you happy with the beads? Everyone says to use them instead of weights. Even my tire guy says to use them.

I replaced my 22.5 H rated Michelins with Continental HSLs a few years ago because I could not get the Michelin XZA2's. The Continentals have been great. I have never used beads or powder. It would be easier for the installer, but from what I have read does not always work well.

I had an 2002 Dynasty and replaced my Goodyears with Bridgestones (per a recommendation) and hated it. I would go back with original equipment tire - Goodyear.
