Tires for 2003 Diplomat 38 ft

We have a new to us Monaco Diplomat 2003 38 foot diesel pusher and need to replace the tires. Present tires are Michelin 275 70 R 22.5 and that is the size I understand was standard on this coach. The former owner replaced them in 2012.

If you have a similar coach and have replaced the tires with a different size tire, what size did you use and did the tires fit satisfactorly--no rubbing between duals, finder wells, motor home side, etc. ?
My research indicates that 295 75 r 22.5 is likely the best fit for replacement. I realize the tire is approximately 2 inches larger diameter and 1/4 inch wider--thus the reason for the question.

We appreciate any comments. Thank you

Here is a handy tool for comparing tire sizes.

Have you looked at the FMCA tire discount program?

I as well as many others on here have gone with Sumitomo ST727’s in 275/70R22.5
You should able to find them locally for approx $300 each plus balancing and mounting.
They are great tires for RV’s and rarely fail. Used by many trucking companies as well. You will want the H/16ply rated model, which is M speed rated (81mph). Sumitomo part number 5530596
