Hi friends, I have had email saying I am wrong when I stated the need to Torque the lugs on my 96 Dynasty to 500 ft pounds! All I can say, is the specs in my book say they dont recomend to oil them, but to go to 350 #s if you do, and to 500Ft Lbs. otherwise! And the Dyn has Aluminum wheels! I do hate to go that Torque, but thats what it says! It has 10 lugs and the socket is 1-1/2 inches. What say you? allegro5

Do you have the swivel type lug nuts or fixed type lug nuts?

The Dynasty has standard solid 1-1/2" Nuts. Ten of the little duffers! Aluminum wheels and half moon caps. The book says 350-400 if oiled, and 500 dry! I will use a 4ft cheater and pray more! allegro5

Had my tires changed this spring and the tire shop torqued them to 500 ft/#, no oil, aluminum rims, everything okay.

I always thought the solid type did not get oil. Guess I was wrong on that.

I have a 96 Dyn. and the book says that Monaco does not recomend to Lube the lugs. and to torque them to 350# if you do and 500# dry! Mine are 1-1/2 nuts and of the solid style. allegro5
