I would not think Lazy Days (LD) at this point would want much to do with N-Mon. They currently have from O-Mon (Old Monaco) some 58 units. Monacos - 22; Beavers - 7; Holiday Ramblers - 25; and Safari - 4. Add this to the $2M warranty issue and I don't think there'd be any mood to deal with any Monaco, new or old. They (LD)have had almost a year of deep losses (unless last quarter was better), missing a couple of major debt payments. Attitude might be "Screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me." But who knows. Business is strange and makes strange bedfellows. But I would think LD would want major, near-total relief on their O-Mon accounts receivable and inventory before they entertained taking on N-Mon. Just ramblings as I wait for the grill to heat and the Bud Lime to cool.

Richard-
1) shame on you for letting the Bud Lime get warm
2) for the reasons you state, I'm betting start up of production will take a while, and probably start out slow. Given CC's experience posted here, there is little incentive to crank up & flood the market w/new coaches while the inventory overhang is killing the economics.
3) it has to be an interesting twist to the conversation for Kay Toolsen to show up to negotiate a "new" dealership agreement w/an outfit that just got screwed to the wall, all the while appearing to be taking great care of Kay Toolsen. Sweet!

Today's Monaco

Business 101.... think CEO Kay really tried to do the right things as the RV market jetted downward, of course (Monaco's Rv resorts was also a big investment .....), kinda think since Monaco LLC is trying to raise again from the ashes, might be better to start over minus Coach Kay. Kinda like Little Big Horn and Titanic all rolled up in one....and Monaco owners' scattered to the winds...look out Iceberg ahead...
We Leave "no soldier behind" on the field of battle...everyone known's any consumer driven BRAND without it's loyal owners base is just damaged goods.... DocUSAF

IMHO, Toolson will be around just long enough to "train in" a Navistar person (Business 1001 (Grad level))

I e-mailed Monaco tech line late one evening last week concerning location of fuses for my dash fan that quit. They called me the next day with the answers. Wasn't a fuse problem so I e-mailed again and they answered quickly. Looks like the tech folks are back and trying hard. They said that the parts people were back as well, were swamped but digging out.

I just went on the HR web site. Under service and contact us, they had a link to contact technical help. There was an information page that asked for coach number, contact number etc, and then an area for an e-mail question. Filled that out either Sunday or Monday evening and they called the next day around 10 AM.
