toilet problem little help please

We have a 04 Beaver Marqies with a modle 3010 Dometic toliet. The toliet will not flush and the "ball" in the bottom-flap is stuck in the open position. I have the back panel that has the two toggle switches on the far left. If I put the right toggle switch (service mode) the toliet will flush but the ball stays open all the time. After flushing I need to put it back and forth from service mode to get it to flush again. Anyone ever had this problem? New toliet replacement quote over a grand!!!! Appreciate any ideas. I called Demetic and tech thought is might be a "base" problem and no parts available any longer??
