Toyo or Yokahama??
Folks,
Toyo M144 or Yokahama 104ZR? Both in 295/80x22.5. Specs look virtually identical. Price is a wash. Will buy one or the other next week. Any reason to pick one over the other?
Cheers,
Bob

I don't know about the Yokohama, but have had quite a bit of experience with the Toyo's. So, Toyo has my vote.

Same here.
I have not tried the Yokohama as the Toyo's have worked great.

The one set of Yokahama's I had several years ago wore like iron. Best tires ever on any of my vehicles.

Have had Toyos in the past and had strange wear on steer tires. Now have Yokohamas and we are currently on a long (6000 mile) mile trip and tires look great all the way around.

I have 6 new yokohama 104ZR's installed and will be on the road Oct 1st to see how they do. Have Yokohama on my other vehicle and have had them on several others. One thing I really have liked, they are available. It has been my experience that many tires are just not in stock and will need to be ordered.... but they do have a Yokohama available. Also put on new Bilsteins (8).

Toyo or Yokahoma tires
I like the Toyo. The new number instead of 144 is now 177.

I just put the same size Yokohamas on the front of my coach. So far so good after a couple of thousand miles. The rears were smaller sized Generals. I'm happy with my selection.

I vote for the Yokohamas. I put a full set on a month ago and am very pleased with them though it may be too early to tell (1200 miles). They came highly recommended by Service Tire of Allentown, Pa and seem to be living up to their claims.
