We recently purchased an 05 PBQ43 Navigator. It has a computer desk and chair and cabinets on the driver side. This was a factory option. I thought I would be using the desk more. But now we realize we could use the J-couch option much more. b4 we go out and buy a J-couch, I thought I would ask if anybody out there would want to trade?

Stretch:

You may or may not find someone who wants the desk, but I can't imagine that it would be hard to find a J-lounge someone has taken out. Or I'd call around to some of the RV remodelers/outfitters to see if they have any out back in a pile. I know a number of folks who have removed theirs for residential-type couches (like La-Z-Boy loveseats). When we switched our J-lounge, they said it's even hard to donate them because of their shape/height...they hauled ours to the dump.

Good luck.

/Jerry

Do you have any pictures of the desk? What type of wood and finish?

You will HATE the J-Lounge once you have one. Get a couch or couple of chairs to replace the desk. Much better option.

We have a leather J couch that might work for you. Too bad you live on the west coast, makes it hard to eyeball what is could be traded.

Rex is 110% correct. I had one removed and replaced w/ a J-bed sofa on a previous MH.

Ours came with a sofa-bed on the road side and a smaller sofa/magic bed on the curb side. Couldn't figure out why we'd want two sofas, so we had the smaller one taken out and replaced it with a J-lounge that folds flat like a goucho couch. I don't really like the thing, but my wife absolutely loves it. She'll sit there all evening in the corner of that J-lounge, with her feet up, and read or watch TV -snug and comfy as a dung beetle in a pile of... (Oh wait, maybe that's not a good analogy. )

You folks have convinced me. I will look for a couple of recliners and just keep the computer desk for the next owner. Thanx for the thoughts

My Fishbum (husband) has the most comfortable swivel rocker recliner that we both agreed had to be moved from the 'old' MH into the newer MH. Even though it does not match exactly, it coordinates. We had the dealer remove the small 2-cushion couch that was on curbside. Fishbum wants to build a small, stow-away laptop table of some type when we return to the stick house. Some like the euro recliners with the separate foot rest. There are a lot of nice choices out there. Good luck and let us know what you decide on!
