Trailing arm problem

I have been looking at the PAQ floor plans and they are apparently available from around '04 to '08. Somebody asked me if these were affected by the trailing arm problems. The answer is, I don't know. I'm just getting into the whole Monaco thing and trying to get an idea of potential problems.

Sooooo, can any of you kinda give me the lowdown on this particular problem. I just passed on a Camelot that fell within the wrist pin engine # range. I might have something else to look out for now.

Thanks, Terry

Terry,

You don't give us enough information. The trailing arm problem is only on 4 air bag chassis and those were used on Caymans and Neptunes and maybe a few other models. The early Knights may have also been on a 4 bag chassis but I believe they are all on the 8 bag now.

Terry,

Here are two links that show what year and models that were affected AND the best place to have the trailing arm issue fixed.

Source Engineering are the ones that will install both new trailing arms plus they have a ride enhancement kit that will make you coach drive like a dream.

Richard, Thanks for the links. It looks like I'm in the clear with that problem since I am focusing on Camelots and Diplomats. Now I can concentrate on the wrist pin issues.
