Evening,
Took the motorhome for a spin this afternoon to heat up the engine and keep everything lubricated. Went 20 miles or so down the highway. Now I have the itch to hit the road and take a trip. Haven't been since Thansgiving and probably won't get to go for at least another month so I'm really going to have the fever by that time.
Do you all get that way when you haven't traveled for a while?

I fall in that catagory too!
We are plodding along in the construction of our RV pad with electric. Once that gets completed, I will de-winterize the coach and be able to hit the road for short trips. We don't have a "real" tip planned until Memphis In May, so a few extended weekends will have to do until them.
I'm ready to hit the road!

But I try NEVER to head south while I'm doing that. I don't trust myself enough to not want to just keep going. Then I'd have to explain why I never made it back to work on Monday morning.

Being in California and not having to "winterize", we just can't get out as much in winter as we want. The best term I've ever heard for our plight is that we have "PMS", (parked motorhome syndrome).
Come on sunshine............

We've been "exercising" the MH for the past 8 months, now we are ready for a marathon. We're loadin' 'er up today and tomorrow, and hitting the road for "don't-know-how-long". We are heading west, then north. But the northward trek will be slow and dependent on warm weather.
Not rubbing it in, actually still marveling at the feeling of retirement freedom.

All of you that are able to go for a short spin are REALLY Lucky!!! I now have 2 feet of snow stopping me from even exercizing the generator, (Can't get the front door to open to load it down.) I guess I'll just have to cry until March.

What did you ultimately decide to do about the jury duty thing?
