Trip 1 Trip 2 Trip 3 Trip 4 Gauges 999.9

On my 08 Camelot the trip gauges max out at 999.9. I just finished a 5000 mile trip and 999.9 is just not enough miles counted for me. In the gauges they wrote out

Trip1999.9
Trip2999.o
Trip3999.9
Trip4999.9

Obviously the trip 1 could be tr1 and that would leave plenty of screen for more mileage. Has anybody tried to mess with this at all?

Medallion Gauge panel? If so, mine does the same thing, too.

Probably one of the most frustrating things to this dash, I'm like you and think I don't need all the letters to let me know what trip it is, I need actual digits. Following in case someone figured out how to get more miles to show.

Mine does the same thing but I now have a VMSpc that will track total distance traveled (among other things) until I reset it.

Not sure what they were thinking??? Dumb, dumb, dumb! I do reset trip 1 each time I fuel up to give me a better idea of when to refuel. Even with 150 gallons I cannot go 999 miles. Fortunately the SilverLeaf I added is set up better. I do record the odometer reading at the beginning of a long trip.
