Trouble with the fridge.

Had my 04 Diplomat washed at the truck stop today and now my fridge won't work. It was shut off at the time and now will not power up on gas or electric. I pulled the outside panel off to check for water and there is a red light on. No fuses are tripped or blown, Baffaled.

Water from the wash job is what caused your problem -- You will have to reset the recall box -- Get a magnet & rub over the box till the red light goes out -- Bill Willard

We assume the red light is on the "fix" that Norcold provided for the 1200 series frig. (You didn't mention your frig make/model) If that is the case, Google here on iRV2 something like "Norcold 1200 fix" and read for days..

Here are the instructions for resetting the Norcold recall box. They are very sensitive to water.

If your in a pinch and you need your fridge or you are waiting for service you can connect the blue and red wires together by using a bladed fuse until the box is replaced. Remember that all of the Norcolds have this problem and need the cooling unit replaced or the fridge changed out at some time.
