True or False - Transynd Lowers Temps 20 Degrees

I am new to my 1995 Monaco with the Allison 3060. Using the regular Dexron fluid my transmission temp gauge gets up to between 190 and 200 degrees on cool (50s-60s) days in AZ. When it gets to 110 outside I suppose a trans that runs cooler would be a great deal. I have read that Transynd lowers AT temps by 20 degrees. If true, I would be interested. Those of you who have switched - what was your result?

I switched to TranSynd in my 2000 motorhome and it didn't make any difference in the temperature. It ran around 180 degrees before and after. My 2005 came with TranSynd and it runs around 200 degrees no matter what the outside temperature is. The engine coolant in my 2000 also runs hotter than my 2000 motorhome.

My 2000 Cummins had a 180 degree thermostat and my 2005 Cummins has a 195 degree thermostat and that is why there is a difference.

I'd expect a bit cooler if ambient is 50-60. Maybe time for a good radiator cleaning.
