My turn signals and flashers quit working. Found a blown fuse and replaced it. It blew again. Does anyone have an idea where the flasher is located on a 2000 Diplomat? Any other suggestions are very welcome.
Thanks

I have owned two RV's. One gas and one diesel. Both have the relay under the dash on the drivers side. Hope this helps.

I don't think a flasher relay will cause the fuse to blow. If the flasher fails the light will not flash. You most likely have a shorted power wire to ground somewhere. If you move your steering wheel to a different postion about 90 degrees from its current position & let it stay there then install a fuse, does it work or blow it again. If it blows the fuse this will eliminate the mechanism in the steering wheel. Have you had any work done near the turn signals lately? Do you have a toad hooked up or anything in the receiver electrical plug? If so remove this connection & check it again.

You don't see it often, but if a bulb blows just right they can create a short that can be a nightmare to find? Do your brake lights work?

An often culprit is the trailer hitch wiring receptacle. Make sure all the wires are still held in place with the small screw on each wire. It will be necessary to remove the screw on the outside of the receptacle case in order to remove the socket and harness to inspect.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Checking further the hazard fuze is blown as well. No recent work done and the toad is not hooked up. All of the other lights are working properly. I will check each of the suggestions and report back. Thank you again for the help.

utgraydon......I would also say to check the trailer plug, but if that's not it, you need to start disconnecting wiring harnesses and pulling light bulbs. Start as close as you can to the fuse that is blowing and work your way out.

You can buy a circuit breaker at an auto parts store (same amperage or less than the fuse your blowing) and insert it each time you check to see if you solved the issue. You won't go through as many fuses, just trip the circuit breaker.
