Today we had our first opportunity to use cable TV in the MH and we could not get it to work! After reading the manual, pushing lots of buttons, and the neighbors offering advice (yes, another Monaco owner, of course), Rick finally tried something different.

This is the first thing he saw when connecting the cable (the cover was upside down) Something obviously amiss.

When he tried the cable connection in the SAT port, it worked! (connections were wired backwards)

Rick switched them around, put the cover on correctly, and called it "the upside down and backwards fix"¯.

Make that three. We also had the same problem. Maybe Monaco needs to learn to mark its wires better. 2007 Knight. I made the dealer fix it.

Nine...

I wonder if they are ALL wrong. Maybe Monaco just wants to give new owners a "fun" little problem to work out, the first time they use their TV in a campground. I took the easy way out. I just re-labeled the connecters with a label machine.

Starting to sound like an old song.....1,2,3,4....5,6,7,8,9.

My coach is different, the cable connection in the power reel bay is all by itself. My Sat input is in the curb side pass thru storage bay.

I'm guessing Monaco saved a few more pennies by eliminating another run of cable and placed them together.
