When I travel outside my viewing area ,I have to go into the menu and do a search of the local channels and save them ,sometimes I forget to turn on the antenna amplifier .it don't work without it.

Depending on the year your TV was manufactured you may need a converter box (available at Walmart, Radio Shack for about $50). Would need more information about the year of your coach and if the original TV is still in it.

Ok so you just make the tv search for chAnnels then program them in the 60-90 so it doesn't effect cable channels???
Also above the drivers seat in a compartment is a "tv amp" like a cigarette. Lighter. What goes in there??
Thanks in advance

The coach is a Monaco dynasty 2001
It has the original tv and there is a radio shack box in the stack - I guess I should just make sure that is on

In mine I have to do a search through the menu of the TV. If I change location, I have to do it again.

There should be a remote for the Radio Shack box and it will have to do a search at every new location from the menu button. TV probably needs to be set on channel 3.

Still going here
Under the radio shack box is a "digital stream" box
I have found it's remote and it scans for channels
You can update or rescan
It went thru the scan process seemingly successfully
It found one perfect reception
A lot say weak signal.
So I'm suspecting I'm on the right track however if I get one with s good signal I should do better than weak on the others
I'll try again today
