We bought our 05 Ambassador in July 05. It was delivered to the dealer in November 04. We only have 12K miles on it as most of our trips are fairly short. We will add 2K more in the next couple of weeks. The manual says to change the anti-freeze every 3 years so I guess I'm really behind a little if you consider manufacture date.

My question concerns the type of anti-freeze to use when I do change it. I have seen something called OAT(?) which I think does not require checking of the SCA levels, which I do regularly by the way. Does anyone know anything about this stuff and can it be used in the generator?

The manual also says to change the thermostat at the same time. How critical is that?
