Hello all. It has been awhile since I visited here. Sold the Dynasty and now am the proud owner of an 05 Executive. I have searched the manuals, forums etc. and cannot find answers to two issues I am working on. First is a simple question. In the main bathroom, next to the flush switch, is another on/off switch. I have no idea what this switch does. Flipping it doesn't seem to change anything. Ideas??? The second question is more complex. I have no idea what the guy that owned this rig was thinking with the TV hookup. Whatever was in the cabinet above left of the driver was removed and a bunch of junk installed. I have a switch in this cabinet marked Aladdin, an on/off/search switch for the satellite that works, and a splitter that says ant and cable. I can get the front TV to work w/ sat altho the splitter doesn't care if it's in ant or cable. I can also get the cable to work connected to the CG. What I am looking for is a schematic for the TV/Sat hookup. I intend to rip most of the junk out and attempt to reinstall all the cables and "stuff" to get better reception with less cables. I am thinking HDMI as I now have several of the yellow/red/white plugs. Less is more?...anyway, anyone out there who might be able to help??? A pic of the cabinet housing the sat/search switch would certainly help....thanks...Dennis

I have a switch on my toilet and it controls the amount of water used on each flush. Lots of water when hooked up, less if boondocking. I think the toilet is a thetford Aria deluxe.

If there is a flush button.. Could the other switch be the Water Pump?
In my "main" bathroom there are 3 switches on the wall
The aforementioned button.. A light switch (SEE NOTE) and the water pump
Of course My rig is a different make'/model from yours
NOTE: the light switch is one of two switches (the other is on the light itself and went bad) in series
The wall switch is OFF and, Perhaps on
The switch on the light is OFF, and Perhaps One-lamp and perhaps 2 lamps
If either switch is OFF, the lights are OFF. both must be on for it to work.
Since the switch on the lamp failed.. I soldered across it so the wall switch now works like a wall switch should, And the lamp switch is Lo/Lo/Hi instead of Off/Low/high.

The splitter...could it be for feeding the signal to the back TV? I had a splitter on mine and I used it to share the sat receiver output to the back TV. Both TV's watch the same channel.
I also use an A-B type switch so I can hookup my portable sat antenna to the cable input to the coach. My main sat antenna is mounted on the roof of the coach. But if I am parked someplace where I can't use that antenna I have a portable sat antenna and 150' of coax that I can place in a position that can see the satellites. I then feed the signal in to the cable connector in the rear compartment, and use the A-B switch to feed the signal to my DirecTv receiver. A much cleaner solution that feeding the coax through a window, then pulling out the receiver to change over to the other feed. Perhaps the previous owner did something similar?

Dennis....My thoughts on the toilet are the same as "tomgagne". Flush the toilet with the switch in one direction and then the other. When boondocking, I get one pump of water. When switched the other way, I get four pumps of water.
TV's.....I elimiated the switchbox and a bunch of cables. Since most of the TV's have multiple inputs I did the following:
Main/Front TV - I ran an HDMI cable from the Main TV to the DirecTV box (short run everything up front)
Rear/Bedroom TV - I didn't want o install a second DirecTV receiver because we don't use our coach enough/watch enough TV to justify it. So, I ran RCA cables out of the DirecTV box to a modulator ($20.00) that converts the RCA jacks to coax. This allowed me to tie directly to the rear TV coax and run the rear TV from the front DirecTV receiver. ( If you want two receivers, just connect the rear coax at the front of the coach to the satellite and place the receiver at the rear TV.
Home Ent/DVD - I hooked my Home entertainment system directly to the back of the front TV using either component video or RCA jacks.
Batwing antenna / Park cable - I connected these two to an A/B coax splitter and then plugged both into the coax connection on the front TV.
Dennis.....I know you do all of your own stuff and I don't mean to insult your intelligence. This is jsut the way I did mine to eliminate all of the wiring and switch boxes. In your situation you may want to watch both TV's on different channels and sources, so this doesn't solve all of those problems.
For us, I can watch satellite in HD in front, my home entertainment/DVD in the front and park cable in the front. On the rear TV we're limited to what the front satellite is playing in digital format. I did replace the rear TV with one that has a DVD player. I don't have park cable or batwing input available to me on the rear TV.

Thanks for everyone's help. Don, I am never offended by people offering to help, so thank you. My bathroom switch flushes once if I push the bottom and adds water if I press the top of it. But there is a separate switch next to it that I don't have a clue what it does. The water pump, aqua hot fan, upper light, lower light and rope light switches are by the door. I guess I will have to try to trace the wires...guess I could call Monaco...duh..!.... thanks again for the help with the Sat...Dennis

My understanding, which may be wrong, is that the Navigator is the top of the line for the Holiday Rambler series. The Signature is the highest model from Monaco and does not have a sister model in the Holiday Ramber line. The Executive is one notch down from the Signature and the coresponding Holiday Ramber model is the Navigator.

This is also what SacsTC said to me- based on the pricing of each base model.
