I recently installed a new dino board for the norcold. It is working great so far. I am now cleaning up the area, etc in the back of the fridge. the insulation around the heat pipes is not in the best shape. is there a particular kind I need to replace it with or can I just use regular home insulation and duct type tape?

thanks ahead for help, cheryl

The insulation itself is fiberglass pipe insulation that you can get at Lowes or Home Depot. Most of those are split and have an adhesive tape already applied. If they don't, I would not recommend duct tape to secure it, though. The heat will deteriorate the duct tape. I would recommend aluminum tape as it can tolerate the temps around the fridge tubes. That is also available at Lowes or HD or at any heating/AC dealer.
