Under Slide

We have 4 slides and the back slide that the bed is on....under neath the slide we velcro the sensor for our indoor/outdoor thermometer. Well one day I saw what appeared to be water on the inside wall next to where the slide extended out.
DH went outside and said he didn't see anything and then decided to bring the slide in just a bit, like 2 feet to look at the top of it from inside. Well there was some condensation up there and he wiped it off and made the problem go away...

BUT......and yes, you know what is coming. He forgot about the sensor unit.
It disappeared! It made it pass the lower part of the MH body and when he brought the slide back out, it obviously hit something and fell inside.

BUT WHERE? and how do you access under there?
He keeps telling me leave it be, batteries will die and we will buy a new sensor. And I get that...but....I just bought this. It was only 2 weeks old.

IS THERE a means of getting under there? It is doing its job while under there cause....we have a different one in the front of MH and the two outside temps match within 1-2 degrees. Only difference is the one that fell under the slide...from time to time says it is raining outside when its not. lol That part seems weird to me.

This is where a cheap bore camera would come in handy.....one that can be used by plug'n into phone or laptop....google flexible led bore camera, and take a look......and alot of other uses

they sell endoscopes on amazon for $25.00 but don't think it is worth it. If I buy it, I will never have need for it again. If I don't, you know the need will come a knockin again for it...lol

On my Windsor I can pull the wiper type seal on the bottom down a little
and see in there using a good flashlight .
If that doesn't work most bed slides have a carpeted box under the bed
The motor and stuff is in that box .
By feeling around the edge down in the carpet you should be able to find
screws that hold the top on that box .
The sensor may be in there .

The top 2/3 of the underbed is a wooden box. Last 1/3 is a well for storage. I had never seen so much lack of storage under a bed before. It surprised me when we bought it. I tried to attach picture here....if it worked
There are some shallow throw rugs and some material on top of the wood box because there is like a 5" ledge that they fit there. The white box in the middle with the strap bands on it is the air pump for the horrible sleep number bed that I hate so much

thought where it says browse at bottom you can add it but that says for video. The insert image at top wants a URL. I only use dropbox and they don't give a URL...sorry guess I can't get picture up
