Unidentified Alarm trumpetting from front of RV

A loud persistent alarm sounded off an hour after we started driving. We cannot find what it is signalling. When we finally came to a safe place to pull off the road, the alarm stopped. It was not the levelling system, no numbers were out of whack on the Aladin Jr system. It was not the Pressure Pro tire system. The sound was from the front of the coach and we cannot find the source. Any suggestions? We are the original owners and in 7 years have never heard this before.

The alarm that most have an issue with is the parking brake sensor. It's located under the parking brake in the panel to the left of the driver's leg. It's brass and about the size of your thumb with two wires. They're easy to replace, just hard to get to (tangled up in the wiring in the side panel. The part is about $50.00 from Monaco.

Typically, this alarm starts malfunctioning by alarming after you release the parking brake and start driving. It will often alarm for a few minutes and then stop. Some have reported that it started while driving and alarmed for a period of time. Mine alarmed twice while driving, but only briefly.

The next time it does this, stop the coach, pull the parking brake and then push it back down hard/firm. This will usually make it stop.

Mine was buzzing intermittently since I purchased the coach. I was also leaking air from the parking brake knob. I had both the sensor and knob replaced and corrected both problems. Mark
