Unladen Weight?
I have to register our 2009 Monaco Cayman 38 PKQ in South Dakota. They require the unladen weight of the vehicle on some kind of "Official" brochure or paperwork, a picture of a label on the vehicle showing the weight would do.
I've searched in every closet looking for such a label. The only weight shown in Gross Vehicle Weight.
Has anyone got an unladen weight for this or a similar year?
I tried Monaco but because this is a pre-bankruptcy vehicle they told me they can't help me.
Thanks
Brian

Usually that information is on a plate next to the driver's seat. Has yours been removed or covered over? It also has your VIN, tire size, etc.

In my 2004 Monaco the weight information is on a 9 X 11 label attached to the inside of the medicine cabinet door with the mirror on it over the middle bathroom sink.
So go open all your medicine cabinet doors.
Makes sense to me......NOT!!!!!!

I have an 07 Neptune 36pdd. I'd be glad to take a pic of mine for you but mine is probably a little less than yours being a 36' 2 slide. Like another poster said, mine is on the backside of the medicine cabinet. HTH

Monaco still has the original brochures up on their website. The brochure has the gross weight and axle weights. Will that work? Look here... https://www.monacocoach.com/luxury-r...ownload&y=2009

Anything would help. I don't know why they want this number it's just a bureaucratic thing.
I've looked everywhere on mine. The label by the seat just has GVWR and max axle loads which add up to the GVWR, The one in the bathroom cabinet just has some warnings about tire pressures and overloading but no weight data.
Thanks

I already looked at the one in my medicine cabinet and it's just a general tire pressure warning and overloading statement with no weight data.

That label only gives Gross Vehicle Weight (Max load) not unladen (Empty) weight.

Many states use the unloaded weight as a basis for the registration or road tax. Years ago I had to have a boat trailer weighed unloaded to get the registration. I had to launch the boat, anchor it, then take the trailer to a weigh station.

Brian, no worries, glad I was able to help. If you're out this way (NC) shout out and swing by. I got a place you can park for the night.
