URGENT slide out help needed 99 dynasty

We have a hydraulically activated living room slide on our 99 dynasty coach. We are running on generator and need to leave soon. Living (only) slide will not come in. Coincidentally generator door slide will not move either. Have checked cutoff switch, and all cargo door switches. It is like there is no power to the slide switch and to the generator switch. It as got to be something simple but we need to get this in and get on the road.

Good luck with a solution.

On my 99 Windsor there was two inline fuses at pump under PS in front of steps. You can check there in addition to front run bay. Down there is the pressure relief valves to allow manual slide retraction. Make sure you re-close that valve after pushing slide in. A basement door switch should not effect the generator slide. Good luck. Your Dynasty may be somewhat different.

If all hydraulic slides aren't moving make sure the pump is operating. Most of these pumps have a high current solenoid mounted on them. If the pump is not working, check for 12V on one side of the solenoid. No power here means a breaker is likely tripped.

I would expect your dynasty would be about the same as my 98 Executive. My slide out motor failed two years ago. The dc motor, pump and hyd fluid container are all in one package under the passenger side front by the steps. I used a meter at the motor connectors while my wife pushed the slide button. I had 12 volts but the motor didn't run. I used numbers on the motor to find a replacement on Ebay. Motor is held in place by the three or four long bolts running down the motor side.

I opened the valves located forward of the pump and with some help from my son pushed the slide in for travel until I could get the new motor. Same motor and system runs the gen slide.

Good luck.

Thanks to all. A couple of quick taps on the motor with a hammer and all is well for now! Will look at it more in depth when home

OK. I seem to remember a couple of solenoids strapped to the motor, so by striking with a hammer you could have made better contact with the motor brushes or either of the solenoids.

If your system doesn't have the solenoids attached to the motor then my guess is motor brushes. I'm pretty sure it's a brush type motor.

Looking back at my records, the motor was a RAP90311. It's a four brush 12 volt DC motor.

There are a couple on Ebay, I didn't like the price either.

If your real handy you could possible change the brushes.
