Vacumm Hose is more expandable now

:-}
As shown in the pic below, the wife finally got fed up with how short the vacuum hose is...
Although we have a standalone little vacuum, she still uses the built in Eureka CV-140 and wants either a longer hose or a repaired one and extension...

found some possibilities on eureka site, but ....

Anyone else had to do this ?

Thanks in advance ! JB2

I got a short hose from another vacuum that had the same fittings. Just have to use the factory hose, with the metal electrical fitting, at the plug in.
Most vacuum stores can make one up also, as they have hose in bulk. But it was pretty expensive, IMO.

Replacement hose is not cheap - but should last another ten years. https://www.allegrovacuums.com/hardw...ge-cv101c.html

My coach's central vac doesn't have any kind of metal in the hose. It turns on when you open the flap in wall board where the hose fits in. So any hose of the correct diameter should work.

Same as Captjak1, still need metal collar and cap open to activate the ( on circuit) for our vacuum. Found hose with same fittings. Also local RV wrecking yard: found a spare hose under j-couch in good shape.
