When trying to set time and date my 03 Contessa Video Coach Monitor,I can't get out of that screen. The manual says to go right or left at certain digits to get out of that screen. I have done that, but it doesn't work for me. The only way to get out is to turn the the ignition on then off, but of course all the settings are lost. Thanks for any help. Bill M

whmprt,

I moved your post to the MH - Problems, Solutions & Aftermarket Forum for better exposure. The iRV2 Website Tech Support & Help Forum (where your post was) is better suited for questions/issues with our website.

Hopefully, by moving it to this other Forum, you will get responses from other members with coaches having the same/similar issues.

whmprt..Welcome to iRV2 and the Monaco Forum! I have actually gone ahead and moved your post to the Monaco Forum because I don't think you will find your Monitoring system in other coaches besides Monaco brands....

We are glad to have you here -hopefully one of our more technical guys will come by on Friday to answer your question

Again..welcome to the forum- we hope you visit & post often!

After reading all of your comments on VMSpc Silverleaf, I just downloaded the software and the latest version was 2.5. I guess the next step is to find out what type of plug I have and order the cord. (Is that correct? or is there anything else that I need to order) Thanks guy's this looks like a great tool.

Bill M,

My version 1.11 is older than yours and the "set time & date" navigation with the joy stick works. Some installations have a "reset switch" in one of the overhead cabinets. At what point in the procedure are you having problems? Have you tried calling Monaco tech services for help?

When in the set time/date screen, after making the settings, I can't get out of that sceen. I have to turn the ignition on then off to get out of it and then the settings are lost. I haven't tried Monaco yet.

Bill,

If the settings are lost when you turn off the ignition then the system is not saving the settings. I'm sure you have tried all possible inputs of the joy stick and that is the only user control built into the system. I would call Monaco tech support and see if they have a fix. Let us know how it turns out.

Not trying to hijack whbamprt thread but to answer Hardy, Yes and the VMSpc can be purchased from a number of RV stores , the best price I know of is RVupgrades.com and the price is $340. Call Martin at Silverleaf and ask about his new VMSpc, I heard that the new one hooks up W/USB instead of 9 pin serial back to USB.

Called Monaco and no help. The guy knew less about the system than I do. He was just reading the manual and never got the jist of the problem (getting out of that screen). I called Bend Ore. and wal-la, end of problem (0perator error).
