Voyager AOM 7694 Trouble shooting

I have some unique problems with this 3 camera system. It is always intermittent with a problem. The screen will go to gray and have AV on the display, when this happens the power button and most any other button will not work. Usually in a few minutes it may revert back to having a picture. I suspect a wiring issue, I had to replace the unit previously, but then it would just go dead and not work at all, intermittently. After a replacement, it worked perfect for 800 miles. Then it would interrupt the display, but come back on while driving. I am hoping someone may have some trouble shooting information that may identify what wiring may cause this to happen. Power off and back on sometimes may wake it up and allow it to work for a little while. Wire harness wiggle does not pin down anything either, in the dash area.
appreciate any input.

I had the same thing happen to mine. It was the wiring harness from the monitor harness to the camera harness that you attach them to.

Please elaborate, the monitor harness connects to another harness, then that harness splits and attaches to the vehicle ( trigger wires) and cameras, what area was the problem? Or, did you replace it all? Oddly, it does not just drop 1 item or go dead. Thanks for a response!!

Here is a diagram of the wire harness of this system. The wire harness that I had a problem with is the one with the arrow pointing to it. It connects to the monitor with a large multi pin connector, secured with a screw on each end of the connector. I had the same symptoms as you described above.
I tried to repair mine, so cut the black plastic off and removed the silicone that held the wires in place, very hard to do with the fine wires as the silicone is very hard. I got it to work for a week or two but could not get it to stay working. I ended up replacing that wire harness and it has been working great for about 6 months. Can not guarantee that is what is wrong with yours. That short harness is hard to find by itself.
Hope this will help,

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone that is experiencing Voyager monitor problems due to the wiring harness. I found a wiring harness replacement at this site: RV Cams Replacement Harness for AOM7694 and AOM7694HD

I've ordered it and will let everyone know how it works once I get it.
