We just purchased a 2000 Monaco Diplomat. On the instrument panel there is a Warning Light on. That is all it says... WARNING... All fluids levels are ok, just had it to the shop there are no codes showing, they did not know what this light was an neither does the dealer. Can anyone tell me what the WARNING light is warning about??
Thanks
Steve

Is your TV antenna up? The switch that indicates that it is down may not be working.

Does the light come on before (key in on position) or after you start the coach?

I just had a similar problem. What I found was that the air dump switch was stuck open a little. After flicking it a few times all was well. Hope this helps.

After changing oil and filters (myself) some time back, I got the continuous warning light as well. Rattled me good. After storing the RV, during which time I turn off both battery-bank switches (in the battery bay), the light did not come back on after that. Kinda like a RESET of some type. Note: I didn't disconnect the chassis batter's cable, just turned off the main kill switch.

It is supposed to be an indication of fluids being low and is set in the ECU. Cummins can put the light out with their computer connected to the ECU. No other way to extinguish the light I know of, even if it did not set a code. If anyone knows another way, please let us all know.

This light has nothing to do with the antenna being up or down. The antenna has a separate light on the dash (if so equipped) that will come on when the ignition is on if the antenna is up. Only problem with this is there is no audible alarm also, wish there was.

Hi,
One of the common reasons for that light coming on is the coolant level sensor is gunked up. On my old 03 Dip we had that happen and we had to remove the sensor and scrub with a scotch brite pad. If I remember right you don't want to use sandpaper or anything too aggressive. It solved the problem for us.

Thanks for all the comments. Okay, Annetta is down properly, washer fluid is full, checked that... the only fluid level I have not checked is the power sterring fluid and I cant find where it is, I am waiting for the owners manuel I ordered to arrive so I can find it... I guess I will call Cummins again and ask about the ECU.. Everything seems to be okay, but that light on drives me bonkers.... Oh and checked the coolant sensor, it is reading properly and has another light for it.. Robi_1014, How long did you leave it disconnected? I always turn off the main switches while it is parked at home. Air Dump switch is working properly also.

fuel cap tight? lol

i have a 93 gasser but with these newer ones, you gotta check it all... i know my dads truck has "check engine" on the pickup if the fuel cap aint tight.... just a stupid thought to throw out there....

is there a sensor for your awning to be rolled back? Onboard tire pressure? steps folded in "transport mode" completely? when was the last time the oil was changed? did they reset the onboard "brain" telling you its time to change the oil? is your air filter clean? our IH Combine has a cummins in it and when the filter gets plugged with crap it turns on a "warning" light on the computer in the cab.

thats all i can think of at the moment. good luck, please post final outcome...

"Robi_1014, How long did you leave it disconnected? I always turn off the main switches while it is parked at home."

About a week, I recall.

Thinking about what Rex replied, that helps explain why my light was ON (after fluids change), but off after a period of time. Inference is: a ECU code was not actually set. Speculation, of course! That's 50% of RVing fun.
