While not the same rig, I've had the warning light come on briefly a couple times -- because of low oil pressure when the engine is hot, and I've just pulled off the highway and am idling at a light at the top of the ramp, or waiting for traffic while pulling into a truck stop. When it happens, it's just a couple PSI low (don't recall if it's around 38 where 40 is the limit, or 28 where 30 is the limit.) Bumping up the idle speed a bit brings it back up and clears the light. If I right away try to accelerate before it clears, the engine has reduced power for a few seconds until the light goes out. All fluid levels are good, oil filter is well within rated life span, and dealer has not been able to find any issues.

I've only ever noticed it being a single color, but at the moment I can't remember if it's red or orange. On my rig, it's on the left side of my dash, and is just the word "Warning" that lights up.

Any of this help?

lgrimes.. first of all-welcome to iRV2 and the Monaco forum.

Can you be more specific as to which warning light? There are many warning lights that may light on these coaches.

Again...Welcome to the forum. We have many helpful and friendly folks here who like to help solve problems. We hope you visit & post often!

07 Manual states:: Out of range conditions exist within the engine protection circuits. Stop and check all fluid levels. Do not check coolant until it has had sufficient time to cool.
The warning light may also signify water in the fuel. Water is heavier than fuel and will collect in the primary fuel bowl. Drain primary filter bowl.

Are you talking about the warning light on the dash that says warning? On my 2002 Diplomat its the second light on the top row between check engine and stop engine.

Mine was on intermittently and it set a code in the computer. To check it I used the eng dia switch on the dash. This was posted in another thread and its how I found the code.

"Now, turn the ignition switch to run - DON"T START - and press the engine diagnostic switch and hold it. Now the CHECK ENG and STOP ENG lights will flash the error code and you can determine what the code is from the table.

Example the amber CHECK ENG light will flash once the red STOP ENG light will flash out the error code. For error code 123, the CHECK ENG light will flash once, followed by the STOP ENG light flashing as follows -- FLASH pause FLASH FLASH pause FLASH FLASH FLASH -- then the CHECK ENG light will flash once and the cycle will repeat.

If you have more than one error code press the IDLE INCREASE switch to
go to the next error code. ALL Inactive codes will not display. If you any inactive codes, you will need the INSITE computer to reset them All inactive codes will only show a solidly lit CHECK ENG and STOP ENG light."

My code was for the lift pump circuit and it needed to be replaced.

I found a list of the codes on diesel service parts.com

Look where the warning light comes on and then look in the Owner's Manual and ID it. I have had issues like that right after I got my Beaver and was able to resolve the problem. Turned out to be my abs indicator when the PAC Brake was engaged.
Good Luck,
Moto
