Thank you for your reply. Definitely getting a diagnostic reader and hoping it is nothing major. Appreciate your response.

Definitely will check for engine trouble codes. Thank you for your reply

Good morning Phil & Ronda; As Bruce91 has mentioned, you could disconnect the negative cable on the chassis batteries to see if the code will disappear. Just make sure you do this before disconnecting, turn the chassis battery disconnect switch to the off position and do not have the coach plugged into shore power. If after reconnecting everything in reverse and you still get the warning light, you will need a diagnostic tool. Others here have purchased either the Scan-D that plugs into the diagnostic port under the dash. This device now allows you to read all what's going on with the engine ECM. I believe it will give you diagnostic codes with some description. Like I mentioned in my previous post to you, I have the Silver Leaf system that came with my coach. Now I could not live without it. The Scan-D I believe is a lot less money. Also others here have posted good luck with buying a scan tool on Amazon for heavy trucks that include motorhome chassis. Again, a less expensive alternative. Keep us posted on how things work out and good luck with your fix when it happens!

I have an audible warning for my hydraulic jacks on 2006 Monaco, possibly you have a warning light, you made no mention of that fluid.

If you have this nice shiny Message center you already have a diagnostic tool.

It will show you fault codes if any.

Without knowing what your fault code light looks like I can only guess.

However did you have any regeneration lights on for some time?

If you see fault codes and they are related to the DPF filter get to a Cummins dealer asap. You might need a manual regeneration.

On my message center it can be as simple as an antenna up alarm, or low air issue. There have been problems with the parking brake switch failing.

Warning Light on Dash comes on - 2008 Monaco Camelot

We have checked the radiator, the power-steering, transmission, and oil.

This is on a 2008 Monaco Camelot

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
UP DATE:
First I want to thank everyone for your input and advice. We bought the Scan Gauge online at Amazon 170 bucks. It hooked up under dash behind steering wheel.

We got a code of 111 and had to look up to get reading of code. My husband and I evidently read the wrong description because we read a description for ECM - critical internal failure.

So being scared and thinking it is an internal issue we had to locate a Cummins diesel mechanic that would come to us and take our warranty. You just cant call a RV Tech so we ended up finding a diesel dealer/mechanic in Corpus Christi (we are currently in Port Aransas) and they came and ran their scan and come to find out it was not ECM. If my husband would of kept reading descriptions

"111 as a Cummins fault code is SPN629, PID S254 111 ECM - critical internal failure

111 as an SPN or PID P111 with several Fault codes is related to coolant.."

he would of realized it had something to do with coolant.

It was a COOLANT LEVEL SENSOR we had to have replaced. We are all taken care of now.

Thanks everyone for telling us about the ScanGauge

Make sure wire is connected to primary fuel filter. After annual service mechanic forgot to connect wire after filter change which also will cause your check engine light to go on. Hope your fix is as simple as this.

Warning Light on Dash

You could give that a try and see what happens. Also check the connection on the low coolant sensor on the expansion tank. I had my warning light come on in my 2001 Monaco Windsor just before leaving Az. for the winter this year. I have a Silver Leaf system with a diagnostic reader built in. It showed Barometric Air Pressure Sensor, low voltage. Drove it 1600 miles back to Wa. state with no problems, but the light was still on. Replaced sensor, no warning light. That Warning light covers too many things that the ECM can pick up. You might need to plug in a diagnostic reader to find the problem if what I suggested does not work. Let us know what happens and what the fix is. Good luck!

Here is a link to the scanguage D. I bought one, and it pretty much paid for itself on the first use. It also can be mounted on the dash, and displays up to four more functions that monitor the engine.
