I'm glad you are back up. After a similar situation I shocked the fuel with Bio-Bor and add a maintenance dose at every fill-up. No problems with filters since.
I always keep a set of fuel filters in the coach as well as the proper filter wrenches.

Glad to hear all is well. You can chalk it up as a learning experience, as we've all been there. I have to agree with dtbt, I always carry biobor and extra filters. I don't think my filters will ever make the 15000 mile change interval.

Having same problem with our 2008 Monaco Cayman XL, had all filters (fuel and oil) changed before our recent road trip. Going up the Vail Pass Grade on 70 WARNING light came on and off , happened a couple more time before we got home.

Within the past week started up the uint to run the generator and engine WARNING light came on again upon initial start up then went off.

Do not keep a full tank as a general rule kept a full tank so think ALGE may have built up?

Have place and order for BIOBOR JP today put some in the tank on the next fuel up and see what happens?

Thanks for this thread it was helpful!

The red warning light is controlled by the computer only. If you receive any error codes in the computer that light will go on. I had it twice.
Once was my fuel filters were clogged and therefore low fuel pressure. New filters and it was fine.
The second time I had an error code for my throttle wires were noisy and intermittent , I just left it on for a month and seemed to cure itself.
I bought a scan gauge-D which gives me my fault codes.
To me if you think you are running sluggish. I'd have my fuel filters changed. If it's not that. I'd have cummins read your computer.

It is ADVISABLE to keep your diesel tank as full as possible when not using your coach, and add the Biobor before adding fresh fuel. I also have the Scangauge "D". Sanford

I had the warning light flash on and then go off several times on my last trip. I had the codes read and it showed over 70 codes registered. I was having a problem with it having a miss at idle. That was the code that was being stored.
Mine was a injector pump problem and likely different from your problem, but I will bet you have codes stored.

To mscress, adding biobor will prevent algae build up or kill it if you have it. if you have algae already you will probably need to change your filters several times after treatment as the organic material is still in your fuel tank. Your filter will catch the scum until it is totally removed from your tank. Carry extra filters, always
