Water Fill Valve

We have an '07 SCepter. The water fill has a valve that selects either tank fill or city water to the house. From time to time, while we have seclected city water to the house, the valve appears to leak some water to the tank. We have city water in the house, but we'll discover that the water tank is full and overflowing. Anyone else experience this? Anyone change out this valve, and was it difficult?

It could be a leaking city water valve that lets you select between tank fill and house. I also think there is some sort of check valve in the system that could be the culprit. I recall a past thread with a similar issue and I believe it involved a check valve somewhere in line. Perhaps someone with a better memory than mine will provide the details.

I had to replace my check valve last year. On my Endeavor, the leak didn't fill my tank, but rather dripped water out the city water hookup when using my pump.
