OK, I need some help friends. We are in the middle of a cross country trip from Tn to Alaska. We hit some ( actually several days worth) of rain and snow across Wyoming/ Oregon/ Washington and I noticed the floorboard on the left side of the steering column was wet, and it was wetter closer to the front. I felt and could not tell if it was coming down the vertical walls or not. There was no scent of coolant in the floorboard. The next day it did not rain and I think the wetness remained unchanged. I looked at the windshield seal and saw no problems. We parked the motorhome in a covered storage lot in Bellingham two weeks ago while we are running around Alaska in the toad. So my question ( finally) is does anyone have any idea where to start looking for the source of the leak? I would bet the farm it is from rain/ snow and I am fairly certain it is not coming from above. We have had this motorhome since March and have driven it in rain before and never saw this leak ( and I think I would have noticed since I have a habit of driving with my shoes off in the warm months). We get back to the motorhome in a couple of weeks. I am sure someone out there has had this same problem and solved it. Any suggestions??

larry and angie, we had the same problem. after looking at all the obvious it ended up being the fitting on the roof where your sat cables come into the coach. the water was coming down the drivers a piller and onto the floor. found it by romoving the a piller cover, had dw spray water up in that area and could see it running. good luck and have a fun and safe trip jim

Larry;
I had the same problem. Mine was at the front of the groove above the front drivers window.
I filled the area with a healthy dose of silicone sealant and it cured the leak.

Larry I would check the running lights, the windshield and if you need to reseal the windshield I would use the glass and windshield sealant and Permatex makes one, I dont think that water can come up around the steering column but check most are a source of air leaks at least.

Larry -- I know this sounds goofy, but check the mounting bolts on your air conditioners -- I see you have a 06 coach, & if the bolts haven`t been torqued since new, they are probably loose -- Take the inside cover off, & you will see the 4 bolts that holds the unit -- I`ve seen this to be the problem a few times -- Water gets in the ceiling, runs forward, & then down the post-- Bill Willard

Another place to check is the seam where the front cap and the rolled edge for the roof come together. The caulking there tends to seperate and water will run down inside the wall to the floor.
