Water leak above windshield

We have a 2005 Beaver Santiam. We are experiencing water leaking down the inside of our windshield whenever it is raining and we are moving down the road. It doesn't seem to leak when stationary. We have resealed the windshield seal and gutter above the window, the clearance lights, around the air horns and other penetrations in this area. We are at a loss! Can the water be coming through the trumpets of the air horns and coming down the windshield?

What did you use to seal the windshield with?

Our beaver has a leak somewhere in front, not all the time. The only thing I can think of is to take it to a shop that has this;

The windshield seal could be leaking between the body and the seal or between the glass and the seal. Did you seal both?

There also maybe some flex or distortion at play while on the road that may have reopened the gap. You could temporarily tape over where you think it is leaking and drive in the rain to see if things change.

If it is a fiberglass roof then the leak could be traveling from somewhere else. Maybe even the a/c unit on the roof.

Our 2008 beaver leaked at the windshield occasionally. It ended up bring the sealant at the front of the large awning box on the passenger side.

We were in Helotes in our '06 Dynasty, west of San Antonio, TX, last year and experienced several inches of rain in a few days. I found a wet carpet on the mini-wall below the dash on the passenger side, above the entry steps. Investigation found lots of water behind the map drawer on the passenger side. I removed the drawer and ultimately removed probably two quarts of water from under the dash. Looking in the opening, it appeared to be tracking down the right edge of the windshield. I did the unthinkably wrong thing, and used clear silicone to seal around the outside of the windshield seal from the top center to the bottom, passenger corner. It hasn't leaked, since.

We recently experienced over 2" in 48 hours in Tucson, and when it ended, I pulled the drawer out and checked behind it and found zero water. So I believe that I may have successfully sealed out the problem that we had in Texas.

Now if I can stop our shower skylight from taking on water between the segments, I'll have our water problems solved. Knock on wood!

Same probleb

Similar issues in our '04 Windsor, usually only at high speed & heavy rain. It's primarily on passenger side, so not likely from air horns. Seal above windshield is a bit checked.

I think I'm going to tape it off & try some aerosol FlexSeal, before doing a $12-1400 windshield remove & remount.
