Have you checked that the valve is opening all the way? Make sure the drain line isn't kinked or blocked. You could poke a wire up the drain from underneath to see if something is blocked the hose.

If the wire doesn't fix it you could give it a shot of air, up the discharge hose. The air
can go around corners. Just give it short busts of air, You don't want to over pressurize
your tank.

Water tank won't drain

My water tank wasn't draining either. I took the shut off valve out and found that the ball valve had had come apart. Replaced it . problem solved.

As suggested......drain line clogged, drain valve broken etc.

Other possibility is lack of tank venting.

Are you sure you are opening the tank drain valve? On my coach it is approximately 1 inch diameter drain pipe. I was talking with someone who was trying to drain the tank by opening the cold water line drain or low point drain valve.

It really helps if you say specifically what model and year of coach you have.

On my '06 Patriot Thunder I have to run the water pump with the low drain point valve (the one that on my coach is RIGHT beside the water pump) open and use the pump to empty the tank. The pump is in line between the drain valve and the water tank, and the water doesn't flow through the pump unless the pump is on.
