Weber Q1200 and propane hose to HR Scepter

A lot of folks rave about their Weber Q1200 grill and state that they run hose to the propane tank on their HR coach. I do see a female threaded fitting for a quick disconnect fitting but it is downstream of the regulator.
Anybody out there using a Weber Q? Did you have to remove the regulator on the grill so as not to "double regulate"?
I'm thinking a 10 foot hose would be about right but want to designate the fittings on each end correctly.

Took mine to the propane & grill store, had them remove the regulator and make me a 12' hose. Works like a champ

I bought the T that goes before main regulator. If I had to do it again I would remove the regulator from the grill. Would have been easy to tap into low side on rv I have now.

Weber gril conversation

I found this some time ago. It worked great. I went to the local Home Depot and found the parts
Not exactly what you want. But gets you part of the way there. The rest should be easy to figure out.

Voila!

Thanks to all who weighed in on this. Found Youtube videos on how DIYers bought all the appropriate fittings and did some minor surgery on the Weber. Also found a product made by Torjik that includes a hose (8' or 12') with the appropriate fittings and the best/most efficient fitting to install on the grill after removing its regulator. Ordered the kit!

Mission Accomplished!

The folks at Propane Gear (Propane Gear - Heaters, stoves, torches and all of the hoses and regulators to connect them.) are super! They took the time to walk me through the overall strategy given what exists on the coach. They are located in Idaho and ship things out right away.
Check them out!
