Welcome advise on this HR
To all. Have looked at a 2006 HR Endevour. Pdq. One owner whom i have known for yrs. he does not work on anything all done by local rv shop.
The mileage is only 3500. Generator hrs are 426. So I know history of why. Has some minor issues inside. Needs tires. Always stored in enclosed shop. Paint looks excellent. I have researched and researched. I hear the bad of something that only has 3500 miles on it. But all considered Other rv i have looked at in same yr have 23k, 50k, 35k, Cat or Cummings diesel. One that has 350 miles a year vs 2300 miles. ????? Yes. Use it or this or that happens. But again lots of rv's sit a lot. Who says 23 k was not put on in 3 of those 10 years. !! And the other 7 yrs ??
So it's been used ( while he was developing his business) and lived in for approx 2 months. Price is payoff of loan. He wants it gone. Looking for opinions !!!

How much is the pay off? If the price is right I'd get it if it is what you are looking for.

I assume it has the 400 ISL which had a wrist pin problem on some units in 2006 so you would want to make sure it isn't involved and if it is, it has been repaired.

Way off. He's way upside down.
He'll either need to throw money at it - typical used value is somewhere around low retail, IF everything works and it's ready to go. Expect to spend some pretty good cash getting all of the fluids up to date (assuming you don't do it yourself). I'd say $1-$2k easily.
OR he'll do what other people do - sell if off to someone who makes payments to him and accept that risk, which will probably not work out...

As others have said... it appears to be WAY over priced compared to the 40PDQ's I found on RV trader...
That's a bummer... garage kept... personal knowledge of owner... low miles.. right floorplan.. however, all that aside... might be worth a couple thousand to have that kind of confidence.. but not worth $50k... cause it appears that rig should be selling for around the $70k mark..

When we bought our Navigator a year and ahalf ago, all the private sale RV's we looked at were going for 10+ % under NADA Low book, and with no addons for extra options. Based on that it would be worth at most around $80,000. Certainly knowing the owner and the care it's had brings the value up, but if you need to get a loan then you may have to come up with other assets to secure it. Best of luck in your decision. Bob

Other HRs I've seen online are less then that. I'm sure knowing the previous owner is a plus. However, you did mention some minor issues, and tires. You need to add that to the total cost.
Maybe a little price negotiation is needed if this is the MH you really want.
Best of luck!

I just went through purchasing a 2008 Camelot 40PDQ. I have all records this was garage kept on and on. Like others say, upside down is upside down. He Rutgers pays by trading it for a new one where the dealer will add that amount to the cost. Or he needs to make it sellable by fringing it down to NADA -10% of low retail. Mileage to me is not a factor like a car. I purchased mine for 85k. Yes expect if you don't have the service history to spend at least 2-3 k servicing the coach, not including tires! Depending on what state, sales tax, licensing etc. all things to consider. Good luck.

Our customers have been selling their MH's for around 10% to 20% below low retail.
Low retail today is $87,600.00 on that model. We see it all the time where owners are upside down. One owner has been trying to sell his MH for 2 years.

As the buyer, you have all the power. Get what you want at a great price or keep searching. Too many rigs for sale to settle for less.
