I have a 2006 38' Endeavor and am having the Weldex problem of losing the rear view picture and also losing the right and left camera pictures intermittently. I have read your post and I have a print from Monaco with your fix on installing the relay to get better power to the monitor. How do I get to the wiring for the weldex? Do I have to take the monitor out or remove any panels? Can I get to it from inside or do I have to remove panels? Any photos or prints would be appreciated. This is my first post to this forum.

Jim,
I responded to your private message (PM) to me. I've got a hard copy of the Monaco Weldex/Aladdin wiring. We're on the road and that wiring diagram may be at the stick house. If it's in the files on the MH I can scan or fax it to you, otherwise it will be the first of December before we get back.

Jim

Hope you have better luck than I had. I've had the dealer replace the camera twice, Wildwood replaced the camera once, Dealer (Bleakley) replaced both side camera cables and one camera. Another time Bleakley wired the unit directly to the Battery. I've had it "worked on about a helf-dozen times. While it is better, it still goes out from time to time. BTW, there is a two year warranty from Weldex if that helps/means anything. I still have 4 months on my warranty according to the HRtech. The "nice" HRtech at Monaco (Volt) told me it was no longer their problem. Its between me and Weldex. So again, good luck. s/Toby

mark </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Thank you for the quick reply. December 1 will work just fine if you don't have it with you. I plan to have my engineer son and gadget guy do the work for me. I weigh a little too much to be agile. He will be here Thanksgiving and again at Christmas. We just have one short trip planned for early Dec.

Of all the tweaks, changes, cleaning, testing, etc I've done to the Weldex the most effective thing I did was hardwire around the rear camera connectors. The rear camera has not blinked since I bypassed the video around the connectors. Clean power helped clear up the video a little but the main problem was the connectors.

After may repair attempts Monaco replaced the whole Weldex system with a Voyager system problem solved. If you can't get them to replace the system I think someone found that replacing the cable from rear camera to Aladin unit also fixed things. I beleive that is in a long topic on Weldex issues here is the linkWeldex rearview system.

So you just removed the inline connectors and hardwired the cable?

I see its been a long time, how have they held up?

Seems my problems are up at the Weldex monitor.
Have audio but no video, all three cameras.

Any thoughts?
