OK so has anyone with a 2001 ISC 330 with coolant filter changed to one of the new type coolants that do not require SCA or DCA?

If so, what coolant?

How long ago?

What has been your experience?

What process did you use to remove the old coolant?

As I stated earlier in this thread I changed to the OAT type (red color) anti-freeze in my 05 ISC 330 2 years ago. I know a number of others have also as there was quite a bit of discussion about it when I was deciding if I wanted to change. Contrary to what some have been told a Cummins tech told me I could use the OAT as long as it met their specifications. The Final Charge Global I used does. The reason I wanted to change was mainly for ease of maintenance. One less thing to worry about since no SCA's are needed. I found the test strips to be an inexact science, especially since I am partially color blind.

My ISC does not have a coolant filter so don't know if that makes any difference.

Hey everyone just talked to Monaco told them my situation year model and everything they said to use the glycol 50/50 green that you put in any car or truck. Now I'm really confused. Think I will just go get my coolant completely changed out and be safe. Thanks for all the help, if nothing else we got a lot of great info and some great discussion going.
