Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I do not think it is the engine heater. Our has one, but the directions I read did not say anything about a switch. We also do not have aquahot.

Ray999, I did have the front tv on when I was trying the switch and nothing happened with it.

So this morning I called Monaco. I spoke with a very helpful rep who told me she had been working there 25 years. However, she did not know what that switch was. She did tell me that Monaco labeled the system very well and that I might try to pull the switch and look for a label on the wiring. She said they labeled them every 6 to 8 inches.

She also sent me an owners manual for my coach and I briefly looked over it. (Terry you might be on to something) I did find some information about a switch that would control whether the microwave or washer/dryer (our coach had one, but it was removed earlier this year) was operational. I did not try the microwave when I moved the switch around, so I will also check that!

Still working on finding out what it is for, but at this point, it is going to be a while as the coach is in storage. However, I will keep everyone posted.

98Dynasty, our coach did not come with a dishwasher.

I am going to check and see if it controls the power to the microwave as our washer/dryer was removed.

Thanks for the tip!

Neither did mine. But it is wired for one, hence the switch. Microwave is on circuit of its own

Saltcreep and 98Dynasty I think you guys hit the nail on the head!

My label must have come off.

I went to do some maintenance today and I saw that under the sink is an electrical box labeled "DSW". I assume that to mean dishwasher. I suppose that switch is so that a dishwasher and washer/dryer can't run at the same time.

A permanent marker should make a good fix going forward.

Thanks so much for your help. Now I can sleep better at night!
